GroundHog Ratings

GroundHog Ratings

GroundHog Ratings.com

A movie rating website that I built for my class. I built this using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP). It uses a unique rating system that I invented by rating a movie by when you will watch it again. For example, 5 years.

CramCraft

A flashcard creation website used for studying that I made for my class with 4 other people. I used the JAM stack (JavaScript, API, Markup) to make it. I handled the frontend while still helping with the backend. We used Supabase for the database.

On Your Feet

A 2D platformer video game that I made for fun with my friend who is majoring in digital media. We made this in Unity while I handled all the programming and artwork. C# was the coding language. We published it under my friend's account, but you can see my name credited at the top of the page.

Before I made groundhogratings.com, I made a different movie rating website, but this time it was made with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js). It uses a standard ratings system. Rate from 1 to 5 stars and you can write reviews. The demo is down for now. Here is the GitHub repository: https://github.com/alparmelee/MovieRatings
